The purpose of the following Code of Online Business Ethics is to help guide the process of safe online shopping. These guidelines represent sound online advertising and selling practices that eChamber.com believes will increase the reliability and confidence level of those shopping.


Become a member of and adhere to eChamber.com's Code of Business Ethics
Provide eChamber.com with information about your company including business name, ownership, address and customer service contact information. This information is available by viewing the companies Reliability Rating.
Agree to promptly answer all consumer complaints. eChamber.com provides a means to directly file a consumer complaint against eChamber members.
Ensure that items are properly described and what is being described is being sent. Customers fear that they either will not receive the items purchased, or receive an item that is substantially different from the description on the Web site.
Agree that email addresses will not be sold to third parties. eChamber members have a fiduciary responsibility when it comes to protecting conumer information.
Ensure that personal or financial information, such s credit card information, will be encrypted for the consumers safety.
Agree not to create misleading advertising.

Please note, a business that is a member of eChamber.com does not guarantee you will be satisfied with its product or service. It is also understood that eChamber.com members have a method of handling consumer complaints to say the least. This does not mean that they have never experienced complaints, nor is it a guarantee that they won't in the future.
